Baby Grinch's Mischief Whistle

A small green grinch trails after you on foot, and the moment you outrun it or take to the air it grabs a red balloon and floats up to meet you. That catch-up animation is most of the charm, because the majority of pets just scramble or blink to your side without explaining themselves.

The Ice Queen only shows up in the later waves of the Frost Moon, and the odds climb the deeper into the event you are. That makes this a pet for a run that can hold an arena together well past the middle waves, not something you pick up casually. If you are farming the moon for its weapons anyway, one will turn up on its own eventually.

• The infant version of the character comes from the 2000 live action film rather than the 1957 book, which never shows him as a baby.
