What the site records

Page views are counted in Google Analytics, which sets cookies and receives your IP address, the page you are on, the site that sent you, and your browser and device type. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or read Google's privacy policy. The web server also keeps ordinary access logs with IP addresses and user agents, to find errors and block abuse.

There are no accounts here and nothing to sign in to. The site never asks for your name, your email address or anything else that identifies you.

What stays in your browser

Your day and night setting, the boss difficulty you picked and anything in the crafting planner are stored in your own browser and are never sent anywhere. Clearing site data removes them.

The seed map generates worlds on your machine. The seed you type, the world it builds and the map you look at never reach a server: the generator is compiled to WebAssembly and runs in the tab.

Advertising

The advertising here is sold and served by NitroPay, which fills each slot through a number of advertising exchanges. NitroPay and those exchanges may set cookies or read device identifiers to choose an advertisement, limit how often you see the same one, and measure whether it was viewed. What they use includes your IP address and the rough location it implies, your browser and device, the pages you look at here, and identifiers set on earlier visits to this site or to others. NitroPay describes its own handling in the NitroPay privacy policy.

You can limit personalised advertising through any of these:

• Google Ads Settings, for advertising served by Google
• YourAdChoices, the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out
• Network Advertising Initiative opt-out
• Your Online Choices, for visitors in Europe

These are stored per browser, so clearing cookies or switching browser means setting them again. Opting out does not remove the advertising, it makes it less relevant to you.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to exercise those rights without being charged a different price or given a worse service.

In the last twelve months the site has collected identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet activity (pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device details), and the interest categories advertising partners derive from that activity. All of it comes from you or your device as you browse, and identifiers and internet activity are disclosed to the analytics and advertising partners above.

We do not sell personal information for money. Passing information to advertising partners for interest-based advertising counts as a sale or share under California law, so the opt-out is provided: use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer. It appears for visitors in California and records the choice for the browser you are using. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Since there are no accounts, a request to know or delete can only cover what an advertising partner holds, and the opt-out link is the direct route to that.

Visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland

You are asked for consent before any advertising or analytics cookie is set. The prompt is run by NitroPay through a consent management platform built on the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, and it names the vendors and what each one does. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the consent link in the footer; withdrawing it does not affect processing that already happened.

Where a legal basis is required, ours are consent for advertising and analytics cookies and legitimate interest in keeping the site working and free of abuse. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children, changes and contact

The site is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them. Changes to this page are posted here with a new date at the top. For anything on this page, email [email protected].
