Bamboo Leaf

The red panda is one of the better looking pets, mostly for how it moves. Rather than blinking to your position or flapping along, it surfs a leaf through the air to catch up, which is more animation work than most cosmetic pets get.

It comes off the traveling merchant, so this is a matter of checking stock rather than farming anything. He does not visit every day and his inventory is random, so if you want it, get into the habit of talking to him whenever he shows up.

Red pandas are not young giant pandas and are not close relatives of them. They are a separate Himalayan tree dweller that happens to eat the same plant.
