Cherry

Boreal trees are the only source, and it is a rare shake result, so cherries arrive one or two at a time while you are chopping through the tundra for other things. There is no farm worth building for them specifically.

Unlike most produce, nothing asks for a cherry by name. It only feeds the catch-all fruit recipes: Fruit Juice, Fruit Salad and the shimmer route to Ambrosia, all of which accept any fruit you have. So spend cherries first and hold back the fruits that other recipes call for. The buff it gives on its own is the basic one, fine for a walk and not worth a slot on your hotbar during a fight.

Despite the name, the sakura trees that look like cherry blossoms drop nothing of the sort. And the sprite shows a pair, not one.
