Daybloom Seeds
harvesting on the right schedule
The catch with Daybloom is the window. The plant only gives seeds back while its head is open, which happens in daylight, so a noon pass through the garden restocks you and a midnight pass just strips flowers. Growth itself does not need sun, so an underground herb room works fine, it simply will not produce seeds any faster.
Planter boxes beat Clay Pots for a real farm because you can run a row along a wall at head height and sweep the whole thing in one pass without breaking the pots. Hallowed grass accepts the seeds the same as ordinary grass, which stops mattering only if you keep the area around your base pure.
