Deathweed Seeds

The plant only gives seeds back while it is in bloom, and it blooms on blood moons and on full moons. Harvest at any other time and you get the herb with nothing to replant, which quietly drains your stock over a few nights. The tell is the sickly red pods sitting on the leaves.

They take root on evil grass, on the matching stone, or in pots and planter boxes anywhere at all, including a lit indoor room nowhere near a corrupt or crimson biome. The location never mattered. The moon does, so a home garden still only pays out on the right night.

The Staff of Regrowth pulls seeds off fully grown wild plants and leaves the ground behind it intact, so it is the tool to carry on a herb run instead of a pickaxe.
