Most pets are decoration. This one wanders around swinging at trees and leaves the results on the ground for you, so a tight grove turns into slow passive income while you are doing something else entirely. It never breaks a tile, so nothing needs replanting.

What you get depends on which part of a tree it connects with. Leafy tiles, meaning branches and the crown, are the ones that produce acorns and gemcorns. Trunk hits give you much less. Plant trees close together so the pet is always beside a canopy instead of pacing along a row of bare stems.

On a gem tree the pet drops the seeds far more readily than the stones themselves, so treat the grove as a seed factory rather than a gem mine. Replant everything it gives you and it compounds without any input from you.

Cenaxe comes out of the Great Tree vs Axe War, a community event from 2023 that a number of the developers joined in on. Cenx led the axe side and picked up the nickname.
