Hades Dye

It washes the piece blue and sets pale flames crawling over the surface. On a full set it looks like your character is quietly smoldering, and it sits well on anything already dark. The fire is drawn on, not lit, so it casts nothing.

The Dye Trader gives it in exchange for a strange plant, and which dye comes back is luck. The plants are the real currency, so pick up every one you pass on the surface and cash them in as they pile up.

Blue fire for hair is how the 1997 Disney version of Hercules drew its Hades, and the dye is a straight nod at him.
