Magical Pumpkin Seed

The chance per pumpkin is small, so this is a volume problem. Wild pumpkins sprout on grass during the Halloween season on their own, but waiting for them is slow. Buy seeds from the Dryad and plant a long field of grass instead, then harvest the whole thing every time it matures.

Pumpkins break to anything, including Actuators. Wire a field of them to one switch and you can flatten the entire crop in a click, then let conveyor belts drag the drops to a single collection point. That turns a tedious grind into a lever pull per growth cycle, and it works just as well for the other pumpkin drops.

The Squashling bobs along behind you and does a spin to catch up when you outpace it or jump. It is purely decorative, like every pet, so the reason to farm this is that you want that specific companion following you around.
