Paint Scraper

Paint does not come back off a tile in a form you can reuse. The scraper strips it and the paint is simply gone, so treat a repaint as paying twice rather than swapping colors. What it does save you is breaking and replacing the tile itself, which matters on walls and on blocks you would struggle to get more of.

Its second job is harvesting moss. Scrape a mossy stone and the moss drops as an item with the stone left standing, which is the only clean way to collect it for replanting or for the biome torches. Anyone starting a moss farm reaches for this instead of a pickaxe.

The Spectre version reaches further and earns its cost on any large cleanup job, since the base tool makes you stand almost on top of every tile you want to strip. Neither one takes a modifier.
