Paper Airplane

Windy Days are the only supply. Slimes drift overhead hanging off Windy Balloons, and popping one occasionally leaves a plane on the ground. Nothing else in the game produces them, so building a stack means going outside on a gusty afternoon and shooting balloons out of the sky.

The flight path is never the same twice. Wind pushes the plane while it is in the air, so a throw with the gale behind it sails across the screen and the identical throw into the wind stalls out and drifts back over your head. That rules out aiming at anything and is most of the fun. The other quirk is that you never lose one. Whether it runs out of air, clips a block or connects with an enemy, the plane lands on the ground for you to pick up again, which no other consumable ranged weapon does. Treat them like kites, something to mess about with rather than fight with. The white variant flies exactly the same.
