Boreal trees only, which means an axe and a trip into the Snow biome. The chance per shake is small, so either bring patience or just shake as you pass through on other business. Anyone who skipped the Snow biome early will not have seen one.

There is no plum specific recipe. It exists to feed the crafts that take any fruit, so it goes into Fruit Juice, Fruit Salad, or Shimmer for Ambrosia. Eaten raw it is a short, weak food buff, fine for the walk home and not much else.
