Reflective Copper Dye
how the effect reads
Nothing moves while you stand still. What changes is the shading, and it tracks whatever light is actually near your character, so the same armor looks like a different item in a torch-lit tunnel than it does at noon. Step outside and the sun overrides everything else you are carrying.
where the copper tone works
It is warm and fairly low contrast, so it washes out against desert sand and near lava and it pops against cold or dark builds. Dye every slot at once and the shading lines up across the whole sprite, which is where the fake three dimensional look comes from. One piece on its own barely registers.
you do not get to choose
Strange plants go to the Dye Trader and what comes back is random. If you want this particular finish, the plan is to keep turning plants in and trade your duplicates to someone who wants the color you already have.
