Scaly Truffle

This is a fishing prize with a picky address. You need cavern depth, an Ice biome, and one of the three spreading biomes layered over the top of it. Most worlds will not hand you that overlap for free, so expect to haul Corruption, Crimson or Hallow blocks down to an icy cavern pool and wait for the biome to flip before you start casting.

The mount is a hybrid: a short burst of flight and a ground sprint that ramps up over several seconds into serious speed. Neither half is best in class alone, but together they cover ordinary overworld travel well, and fall damage is cancelled outright so you can drop off any cliff without thinking about it. Treat the flight as a recovery tool for missed jumps, not a way to cross the map through the air.

Real truffle hunters used pigs to sniff the fungus out of the ground, which explains the odd name. The mount always wears Hallow colors no matter where you fished it up, though a dye in the mount slot gets you close to the other two looks. Stand still on it long enough and it yawns at you.
