Dropped by
one bullet, six pellets
Each pull sprays a fan of shot but only eats a single round, and that ratio is what makes the gun. Expensive ammunition goes six times further here than it does in any rapid fire weapon, so this is where you spend the bullets you were hoarding.
The spread means it wants to be close. Point blank against a boss puts the whole cone into one target; at range half the fan sails past. Learn to close in, fire, and back off rather than holding the trigger from across the arena.
ammo choice
- Crystal Bullets are the default. Each pellet splits on impact, so a single round ends up as a dozen fragments raining on whatever is nearby. Against a crowd nothing else comes close.
- Chlorophyte Bullets solve the accuracy problem instead, since homing rounds do not care that they left the barrel pointing slightly wrong. This is the pick when the target is far away or moving fast.
- Nano Bullets do a decent impression of the crystal option for less money if you are still building up your supply.
