White Pin Flag

The flag does nothing to a shot. Its use is that a golf cup set into the ground is almost impossible to spot from a tee a screen or two away, and standing a flag directly over the cup gives you something to aim at. That is the whole reason to pick them up from the golfer when you start laying out a course.

The six colors are the same six used for teams, which is handy in multiplayer: assign one per player, or mark which team built which stretch of the course. Playing alone, the usual habit is a different color per hole so you can tell at a glance how far around you have gotten. Outside of golf they are just small painted flags, and they work fine as banners on a wall or markers on a base perimeter.
