Creature from the Deep

It only comes with a Solar Eclipse, and on land it behaves like the rest of that roster: a ground fighter that walks at you and hits hard. Put it in water and it becomes a different enemy. It swims fast, turns sharply, and it will throw itself clean out of a pool at you with enough control to correct its angle in midair. An eclipse that starts while you are near the ocean, or over the flooded pit you never got round to filling in, is where people lose runs to this thing.

Fight eclipses on dry flat ground well away from standing water and it drops back to something you can kite like any other fighter. If the arena cannot move, seal the water off before the event rather than during it.

• Force one into a gap only two tiles tall and it gives up. It stands there with its arms hanging for a moment, then turns and wanders away from you.
