Goblin Archer

It arrives with a goblin invasion and nowhere else. Nothing summons one on its own. The only other place it appears is beside a distressed Cattiva or Foxparks, where the archers have to die before the pal will settle into its item form.

Everything else in the army walks at you. The archer plants itself, picks a line of sight and shoots, so it keeps hurting you while you are busy with the crowd. Its arrows cannot be swatted out of the air and enemy banners do nothing about them, which removes the usual passive answer. The weakness is that the arrows stop at solid blocks, unlike what a Goblin Sorcerer throws. A tunnel three tiles high with you tucked in the closed end takes the whole class out of the fight. Knocking one back also interrupts the shot, so a fast weapon with any push at all keeps a single archer silent.

• Confuse one and it falls apart, sprinting in one direction then snapping back the other way in place.
• Its bow drops as a gore piece on death whether or not you have blood and gore switched on.
