Goblin Warrior

Warriors only appear during a goblin invasion, and they make up more of it than any other goblin. Whatever your plan for the army is, it has to work on these, because they are what the wave is mostly built from.

• It opens doors and tall gates, so a closed door is a delay and not a barrier. Seal a defended base with actual blocks before the event starts.
• It soaks far more punishment than anything else you meet before Hardmode, which is why a weapon that hits a whole line of them beats one that hits hard once.
• They bunch up on the approach, so pierce and wide swings are worth more here than single target damage.
• Unlike the Goblin Peon it is your height, so the low gaps a peon slips through are closed to it.
