Vicious Penguin

Mechanically this is a penguin that bites. The difference is entirely in how it appears: a Blood Moon over a Crimson world converts them without asking, and Vicious Powder does the same to any Penguin whenever you feel like it. Since they only come from penguins, you need a snow coast or an ice cave with a population before any of this is relevant.

Only for Pedguin's set, the vanity gear the corrupted version carries and an ordinary penguin does not. Everything else on them you can get elsewhere with less effort. They also cannot drop Bloody Tears, so spending a Blood Moon at a penguin colony does nothing toward keeping the event alive. A Corruption world gets the Corrupt Penguin in the same slot on the same terms.
