Adamantite Forge

Once one of these is placed you can pull the rest of the smelting bench out of your crafting room. It counts as a furnace, a hellforge and a campfire for recipe purposes, on top of being the only station that will turn adamantite, titanium and chlorophyte into bars.

Chlorophyte is the reason it stays in the base for the rest of the game. The ore tier that gave the station its name is behind you within a few hours of building it, but chlorophyte keeps coming until very late and nothing else will smelt it.

The adamantite and titanium versions are the same station with a different sprite. Your world rolled one of the two ores, you build that one, and there is nothing to gain from hauling the other back from a friend's world.

Plan around the order of operations. The station is built from raw ore, so your first haul goes into the crafting room instead of into a pickaxe or a breastplate. Mine more than you think you need before you start counting bars for gear. Placed down it throws light and sparks, which is usually enough to light the corner it sits in.
