Bee Cloak
Causes stars to fall, releases bees and douses the user in honey when damaged
How to craft it
what happens when you get hit
Taking damage drops a small volley of stars onto your position and kicks out a swarm of bees at the same time. Both halves fire from the same trigger, so in any real fight it goes off constantly without you doing anything. You also pick up the Honey buff on the way in, which is a small trickle of regeneration at the exact moment you want one.
the timing problem
Everything it does was worth more much earlier than the point you can build it. By the time you have the parts, bees are not a damage source anyone is counting, and the stars are incidental on top of whatever weapon you are already using.
the real reason to wear it
It is an on hit engine. The bees count as your damage, so they trip the armor bonuses that key off landing hits: Orichalcum petals, the Titanium barrier and Palladium regeneration all fire without you needing to connect yourself. That is worth a slot in a fight where you are dodging more than attacking.
do not double up
The bee half overlaps with the Honey Comb and everything built from it, and the star half overlaps with the Star Cloak family. Wearing two of them gets you one effect and a wasted accessory slot.
