Blue Berries

Most plants pop the moment a stray projectile clips them. This one has to be taken with a pickaxe, so you can run a row of bushes along the roof of a base and swing weapons around them without losing the harvest. Plant on ordinary grass or on jungle grass anywhere above ground and come back once the bush has filled out.

The Spelunker Potion lights up dye plants along with ore, which is the fastest way to spot bushes buried in tall grass while you are out doing something else. Blue Dye is all they make, so there is no point hoarding beyond the shade you actually plan to wear.
