How to craft it
how the orb behaves
Most swings are just a swing. Every so often the sword lets a green orb go, and the orb is the weapon. It passes through everything in its path without slowing down, so a line of worms or a wave of pillar enemies takes the hit all the way down the row. Blocks stop it, and gravity takes hold after a short flight, which means anything at range has to be lobbed.
timing it
The orb runs on its own timer rather than off your swing rate. You get a small sparkle and the sound of mana refilling when it comes back up, so watch for that cue and line up your next swing with something worth hitting. Attack speed makes the orb fly faster but does not shorten the wait, so stacking melee speed buys you more swings and exactly the same number of orbs.
