Chlorophyte Saber

Most of the time this is a plain sword arc. Every so often the swing also lets go of a drifting green cloud that passes through everything in its path and coasts to a stop after a short distance. The cloud carries no knockback at all, so it will not push a crowd back off you, but it will chew through a packed line of enemies that a single swing could never reach.

The cloud runs on its own timer, so swinging faster does not produce more of them. Melee speed gear only pushes each cloud out further and quicker. That makes the Chlorophyte Saber a room clearer rather than a boss weapon: it is at its best in Jungle tunnels and cavern corridors, and against worms where the pierce lands on segment after segment. Against one large target you are getting the blade and nothing else, and there are better blades for that job by the time you can craft this.
