Cobalt Brick

Bricks stretch a small pile of ore into a large pile of building material, and cobalt is exactly the kind of ore you would rather not be spending on decoration. One piece goes a long way here, so if you want the blue, there is no reason to ration it.

Explosives no longer break it, which is a functional property rather than a decorative one. A floor or a shell built from it survives your own bombs and anything else that chews through terrain, so it is worth a thought for arena walls or the lining of a tunnel you do not want widened by accident.

Shimmer turns it into Ancient Cobalt Brick, which carries the darker blue the brick used before it was recolored. That is the only way to build with the original palette now.
