Cobalt Sword

It swings faster than any other broadsword at its ore tier, and the heavier ones hit harder per swing to compensate. Fast swings are better at holding off a crowd and at keeping steady pressure on anything closing on you. Against a single well-armored target the math tilts back, since every one of those extra swings loses the same flat chunk to defense.

The shape and the speed both follow the feudal Japan theme running through the rest of the cobalt gear. When the game later redrew the Muramasa and the Katana with curved blades, this one kept its straight profile, most likely so the two would not be mistaken for each other on the hotbar.
