Copper Broadsword

This is the blade you throw together in the first ten minutes and drop the moment anything better appears. It swings in an overhead arc that covers the space in front of you, which is enough to clear slimes and hold a doorway on night one. The tin version is the same weapon wearing a different sprite, so whichever ore your world rolled is the one you use.

Do not pour bars into this. Copper is better spent on the pickaxe, and the step up to a gold or platinum blade, or to any of the weapons the underground hands you, is bigger than anything a reforge does here.
