Dye Trader's Turban

The Dye Trader lists these during Halloween and at no other point in the year, so you either play in late October or move your system clock. Both pieces appear together and both come off the list the moment the event ends, and since nothing drops them and there is no recipe, a missed Halloween means waiting a full year.

It is the shopkeeper's own outfit, which is the point of it: put both pieces on and you are dressed as him. The turban is the newer half of the pair and did not exist when the robe was first added, so it took a couple of updates before the set was complete. The robe animates the way the game's other robes do, with the hem shifting as you walk, and there are separate male and female versions of it.

It is cheap enough that the answer is yes if you are in range of him during the event, and storing it costs nothing. Getting him moved in ahead of time is easy, since he arrives once you are carrying a strange plant or another dye ingredient and have a spare house.
