1a party prop, not a weapon
Nothing it fires does damage. The rockets pop harmlessly and leave a burst of color, and the box never runs out or costs anything to fire. The value is in wiring: put a few behind a pressure plate at the entrance to a build, or on a timer over a town square, and you have a display that runs forever.

A rocket detonates on the first solid block it touches. A box set under a low ceiling pops the moment it launches and you lose the arc entirely. Mount them where there is real air above, on a roof line or the top of a tower.
clicking beats wiring for bursts
Triggering one by hand has no cooldown, so you can fire them far faster than any wire will allow. Wire is for the unattended show, hand triggering is for the finale.
