80a builder's tool
It does nothing to gameplay at all. It puffs out fog forever, costs nothing to run, and a wire lets you switch it off. What it is really for is hiding things and faking weather in a build.
Bury a wiring run under it, lay a bank of fog along the floor of a graveyard scene, or stack clouds around a sky island so the platform edges disappear. Coat the machine itself in Echo Coating and the effect appears to come from nowhere.
how the fog reads
Light level controls how solid it looks. Under open sunlight it goes thick and bright; against a background wall or in a dim room it thins out until it is barely there. That is a lever you can pull deliberately by choosing where you place it rather than a limitation to work around.
- It picks up color from whatever is lighting it, torches included, and separate colors blend where they meet. The stronger light wins the mix.
- Several machines near each other build a denser bank rather than each doing its own thing.
- It is not Ecto Mist. Nothing that needs a graveyard to craft will work in it.
The Party Girl stocks it, but only after dark.
