There is no combat use here at all. Press the button and it flies, and anyone can snatch it out of the air, including the person who threw it. Two players can keep a game running indefinitely across an arena, and on your own you can toss it ahead and run under the arc.

Taking any damage at all drops it, no matter how deep in your bags it is sitting, and if you were carrying several they all hit the ground together. That makes it a nuisance to keep on your person during normal play. Store them in a chest and only pull them out when you are actually messing around.

The Party Girl will not stock it until you have put a serious amount of time into golf, which is a much longer detour than the price tag suggests. If you already play courses casually you will pass the threshold without noticing. If you do not, this is the wrong reason to start.
