Gold Brick

It keeps the sparkle of the ore it came from, so a gold brick wall catches light in a way plain stone never does. That reads well as an accent or a trim and badly across a whole facade, where the glitter turns into visual noise. Jungle shrines underground are already built out of it in some worlds, so if you find one before you can spare the ore, mine the shrine.

• Gold ore sells for real money. Turned into bricks it is worth nothing at all, which is true of nearly every brick in the game.
• Floating island houses used to be built from it, before the islands were redone and given their own materials.
