Iridescent Brick

Iridescence means the color shifts as you move past it, like oil on water, and that is exactly what this block does not do. Its sheen is fixed and even from every angle, which is closer to pearl. The accurate word was awkward because a different stone brick had already claimed it, so this one kept a label that does not quite describe it.

Most players see it first as the walls of a jungle shrine they tunneled into chasing a chest, not as something they set out to make. Mine the room while you are down there. Crafting more is cheap but gathering it in building quantity is a chore, and the shrine hands you a free stack.
