The only output is Ale, which grants Tipsy: a melee damage bump paid for with defense. If you are not swinging something, this is furniture. If you are, brewing a stack is one of the cheapest pre fight buffs available and it stacks with proper potions.

You do not always have to build one. Underground cabins sometimes generate with a keg already inside, so an early cave house can hand you the station before you have even found a Sawmill.

The tap always faces right. Chairs and most furniture mirror themselves based on which way you are looking when you place them, this one refuses, so a symmetrical bar counter needs planning around it rather than a second attempt.
