Lead Broadsword

This is the sword that carries a fresh character through the first few nights. It swings wider and lands faster than the copper tier below it, enough that a doorway or a corridor becomes defensible instead of a coin flip, and whether you get this one or the iron version is down to what your world spawned.

It is a placeholder. As soon as a chest weapon turns up underground, or you have gold for the next blade, this goes in a box. Do not sink coins into reforging something you will replace before the first boss.
