Lesser Luck Potion
Increases the Luck of the user
You are feeling pretty lucky
How to craft it
how the lucky buff behaves
Luck quietly biases random rolls in your favor. There is no counter for it on screen and no obvious moment where it fires, so treat it as something you set up before a farming session rather than something you feel in the middle of one.
The buff is strange in that its strength is tied to how much time is left rather than to which bottle you drank. It steps down as the timer runs, and all three potions finish their life in the same weakest step. The lesser version is only that final step: it never touches the higher values at all. A bigger potion is not a longer version of this one, it is the same tail with stronger stages stacked in front of it.
when to drink it
Since the values do not add together, drinking a second bottle while one is running gains you nothing. Use the lesser one as a top up at the end of a session or as the bottle you burn when you happen to have spare materials, and save anything larger for the run you actually care about.
You can cancel the buff by right clicking its icon, which matters more than usual here because the last stretch of the buff is the weak stage. Clearing it lets you start a fresh potion at full strength instead of waiting the tail out.
the pearl decision
Pearls are where the real judgment sits. Brewing a Black Pearl into a potion is worth more than selling the pearl outright, even counting the other ingredients, so there is no reason to vendor one unless you badly need coins that minute.
A Pink Pearl is a harder call, because it can become either a Greater Luck Potion or a Galaxy Pearl. The Galaxy Pearl raises luck permanently and pink pearls are rare enough that you will not get many attempts, so unless you have already eaten one, the permanent boost beats a few minutes of a stronger temporary one.
the alchemy flask trick
The Alchemy Flask buff extends potion duration, and because luck strength is measured off the remaining time, those extra minutes get added at the strong end rather than tacked onto the weak one. For the lesser potion that is a real upgrade: with the flask active it briefly reaches a luck step it can never hit on its own. Drink it after you have picked up the station buff, not before.
