Lilith's Necklace

The wolf needs a three tile gap to run through, which is less than most land mounts ask for, so it works in ordinary cave tunnels and hellevator side passages where a Unicorn grinds to a stop. It is fast, it reaches speed quickly, and it takes almost all the sting out of a long fall.

Wings and boots stop functioning while you are transformed, so this is travel and exploration only, never a boss mount. Extra jump accessories are the exception and still fire, which is the difference between the wolf being usable in vertical terrain and being stuck at the bottom of it. Acceleration accessories cut both ways here, since they sharpen your stopping as much as your starting.

You keep full use of weapons and items, with the animations redrawn. Whips swing from the head rather than the hand, which nudges their reach forward slightly.

It is named for the developers' daughter, who was fond of wolves. A new Journey Mode character named Wolf Pet starts with it already sitting in the mount slot.
