Magical Harp

Where you click sets how fast the note leaves. Click near your feet and it drifts out slowly. Click at the far edge of the screen and it snaps away. The pitch of the pluck tells you which one you fired without looking down. Slow notes hang inside a large body and keep connecting; fast ones are what you want against anything that moves. The distance is measured in screen space, so on a smaller window the cursor has less ground to cover before you are firing at top speed.

The notes bounce off walls and pierce without limit until their timer runs out, which is close to ideal against worms. The Destroyer eats a single note down most of its length. Enclosed arenas are the other case: fighting Golem inside the temple, the bounces keep your damage in the room instead of sailing off into open sky. They light the place up on the way, which is not nothing in a dark temple.

Every body a note passes through shaves a slice off whatever damage it has left, so a note that has already crossed a crowd arrives weak at the thing behind it. The other cost is quieter: the hits apply a shared invincibility window rather than a private one, so while your notes are peppering a target, everything else you have aimed at it is landing on nothing. Stacking the harp on top of a strong single target setup returns less than it looks like it should.

This is the upgrade to the Water Bolt and it plays the same way, with more behind each note and far more piercing. Do not expect it to hold a crowd off you the way the Water Bolt could. Water in the arena also drags the notes down to a crawl, so a flooded fight is a slower one. Mythical is the reforge.
