Magnet Flower
8% reduced mana cost Automatically use mana potions when needed Increases pickup range for mana stars
How to craft it
what the combine gets you
Both halves keep working in full, which is not always true of merged accessories. Stars drift across most of a screen to reach you, and every cast comes off a little cheaper, out of one slot instead of two. On a mage that slot saving is the whole argument.
the automatic drinking is a trap
When the bar empties it reaches for the first mana potion it finds and drinks it without asking. That hands you Mana Sickness, which cuts your magic damage for the duration. Against a boss with a long health bar and an autofire weapon in your hands, it can chain that debuff almost permanently while burning through a stack you were saving for an emergency.
If your build already sustains itself on star pickups or on a cheap weapon, the flower half is actively working against you and the plain magnet is better.
The workaround is inventory order. It grabs the first one it can see, so keep the potions you do not mind losing ahead of anything else.
