Parka Hood

Presents are the only route in. Enemies drop them while the Christmas event is running, and each one opens into a random gift, so the outfit arrives by attrition rather than by planning. Presents stack, so the efficient approach is to farm hard while the event is up and open the whole pile in one sitting. The odds per gift are a shade friendlier before Hardmode, though not by enough to build a world around it.

All three parts sit in the social slots and cost you nothing, so the coat goes straight over whatever armor the fight actually needs. The hood is the piece that reads at a glance: it closes over the whole head and leaves a slit for the eyes.

The outfit points at Kenny from South Park, orange hood and all. His running gag, dying constantly and turning up fine the next week, gets pinned in the show on a cult that worships Cthulhu, which lands oddly close to home in a game whose first boss is an eye of the same name.
