Pink Snow Coat

Pink Snow armor is a pre-Hardmode set that exists for one immunity. Wearing the hood, coat and pants together shuts off both Chilled and Frozen. Chilled drags your movement down and turns ordinary jumps into a gamble. Frozen locks you in place completely while whatever applied it keeps hitting you. Both come out of the cold biomes and the things living in them, and neither is something you can reliably dodge once a fight gets busy.

The defense on offer is small, so this is not armor you fight in by preference. Treat it as a swap. Put it on to cross the ice caves, to dig out a base in the snow, or to deal with anything that leans on freezing you, then change back into your real set afterward. In the places where being frozen is the threat rather than raw damage, the trade is worth it, because the armor that would have protected you does nothing at all while you are stuck in place unable to move or attack.

Pieces swap freely with the ordinary Snow armor, and the immunity still applies to any combination of the two. You never need a matched set to get the effect, so if a world hands you a coat of one variant and pants of the other, wear the mix and keep whichever look you prefer.

This used to be called Pink Eskimo armor. It was renamed because Eskimo is widely treated as a slur across the north, particularly in Canada and Greenland, where Inuit is the accepted term. The mobile version had been using the snow naming for years before the change reached everywhere else.
