Pogo Stick
Summons a rideable pogo stick mount Press Jump again in mid-air to do tricks!
how it moves
You bounce constantly and you cannot choose not to, which takes a few minutes to get used to. A second jump in midair turns into a flip. The part that changes how you steer is the momentum: once airborne you keep drifting whichever way you were last heading instead of bleeding off speed, so you commit to a direction early rather than correcting halfway through a hop.
what it is actually good for
Falling. It drops you much faster than your own weight does and cushions most of the landing, which makes it the cheap way to run a hellevator before wings exist. Do not expect it to hurt anything you come down on, because unlike the Slimy Saddle there is no damage on the bounce. Past that it is a party toy. Worth knowing: the readout on a stopwatch or similar accessory only reports half the speed you are really falling at, so ignore what it tells you.
