Pumpkin Pie

This is farmed food rather than found food. Pumpkins come off a plot you planted, so once a patch is running you can bake these forever without hunting anything down, which is not true of most cooking ingredients. That makes it the stack you keep in a chest beside the arena and eat before every attempt, rather than something you ration.

It hands out the basic Well Fed effect, the bottom rung of the food ladder. Worth knowing, because the same tier comes off far simpler cooking, so a pie is not an upgrade over an ordinary plate of food. It is the same effect made from ingredients you happen to have too many of. Once you can cook something on a higher tier, this drops to backup duty. The buff can be canceled by hand at any point if you want to swap up before a fight, and it runs long enough that you generally only think about it between boss attempts rather than during them.

A real pumpkin pie is flat and open, one smooth custard surface sitting in a crust with nothing over the top of it. The sprite here is domed and lidded, closer to a souffle baked inside a hollowed out pumpkin than to the dessert it borrows its name from. That dessert is the American and Canadian holiday standard, and the spice mix in it is where the whole pumpkin spice season gets its flavor.
