Rainbow Brick Wall
How to craft it
Used to craft
building with it
The wall lights itself and cycles through the whole spectrum, so a room backed with it never needs torches. That sounds convenient until you try to build around it. The color never settles, so anything you place in front of it reads differently every few seconds and any careful palette work falls apart.
It works best as an accent: a stripe behind a sign, a border around a doorway, a backing for one shop stall. Whole rooms of it get tiring to look at fast. It also stays lit as a dropped item or inside a frame, which is handy for display shelves and awful if you were trying to keep a storage room calm.
