Release Lantern

Pure decoration. Light one and it climbs, drifts with the wind, and burns out on its own a few seconds later. There is no light source left behind and nothing to collect, so the only reason to use it is the look of a dozen going up at once.

The Party Girl only carries them while a Lantern Night is actually running, and that is a handful of nights across a whole world. They cost almost nothing, so when you see them in her stock, buy a stack far larger than seems sensible. Turning up to a build wanting lanterns on an ordinary night means waiting.

Real sky lanterns are paper hot air balloons with a small flame under them, launched at festivals across Asia and elsewhere for centuries. The event itself was first shown off with a comparison to the lantern scene in Tangled, and the resemblance is deliberate.
