Sandstone Brick

The color and grain sit close enough to plain sand that a structure built from these looks like it grew out of the desert rather than landing on it. That is the main reason to pick it over the sharper edged bricks. It also comes free by the hundred if you strip a pyramid, which is where most players get their first stack.

Desert enemies will not spawn on it. Flooring a desert base or a long walkway with these quietly cuts down how much appears next to you, which is worth more than it sounds during a sandstorm.

• The name is misleading, since you cannot make these out of Sandstone Blocks. The bricks arrived a full version earlier than the blocks did and nobody went back to connect the two.
