Shimmer Gun

Throw the Slime Gun into Shimmer and you get the useful version. The spray does most of what the pool itself does, on demand and at range, and without any risk of dissolving the items you are carrying. It never runs out and costs nothing to fire, so there is no reason to leave it in a chest once you own it.

• Town NPCs flip to their alternate appearance, and hitting one mid conversation updates the portrait while the dialogue box is still open.
• Critters turn into Faelings, which is the fast way to convert gem critters without catching them and hauling them down to the Aether.
• Slimes become Shimmer Slimes, and a number of enemies turn into entirely different enemies.
• Torches shot with it change to match the biome you are standing in, the same result the Torch God gives you.
