Snowball Launcher

It no longer needs snowballs stocked, so once it is mounted it fires forever. Hold the button and it sprays in a rough cone rather than a straight line, which is fine against a crowd walking toward you and poor against anything that needs a precise hit.

Run wire to it and a pulse makes it shoot. Where along the sprite you attach that wire matters: connect on one side and it swings around to face that way instead of firing. That gives you a cheap defense line that can flip direction on a switch.

The snowballs count as ranged damage, so your ranged bonuses, critical gear and even the Frost armor set bonus all apply to a placed launcher. In multiplayer several players can be on the same one at once.
