Solar Cultist Hood

The Clothier only lists these once the Lunatic Cultist is dead, which puts the outfit at the tail end of a run. After that his stock rotates with the clock: the solar pair is on the list while the sun is up, the lunar pair replaces it after dark. Buying both halves means two visits on either side of a sunset. Nothing drops or crafts them.

The two versions are the same cut in different colors. The lunar one lines up with the devotees standing around outside the dungeon, so it is the closest you can get to blending in with them. The solar one borrows its palette from an archer variant that never spawns in a normal world, which makes it the only way most people will ever see those colors on a character. Neither matches what the boss himself wears.

Swap the hood for the Lunatic Cultist Mask over the lunar robe and the costume reads as the boss instead of a follower. The same trick works on the solar side if you run Bright Orange Dye through the mask to drag it into the matching color range.
